“Wonderful stay!!!”
Reviewed 7 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

13 friends and I stayed at Upton Bourne. We were so impressed by the quality of everything. The beds were so comfortable, furnishings, beautiful surroundings, plenty of space and what we loved was the fact we had an enauite for each room which saved time with so many women. Gill was ever so accommodating and baked us a lovely cake for arrival which was much appreciated after a long journey! We will definatley back to Upton Bridge! Thanks again xx Dionne and girls

Both the large Threshing barn and smaller Apple barn are lovely! Very spacious, comfy and family friendly, well equipped for a big get together. Lovely hot tub and sauna plus an undercover area with outdoor games (table football, table tennis etc). Loads of indoor games too. Really dog friendly too - a secure garden and plenty of fields for walks. Most definitely will be returning here.

“A wonderful place to stay!”
Reviewed 27 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Spent the weekend here for my partners 40th birthday celebration. Superb throughout. Huge cosy lounge for us all to congregate, lovely well equipped kitchen and warm comfortable beds. We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and would recommend it to anyone. I'd advise bringing a torch in the winter months though as (obviously) it's really dark in the countryside especially when moving between house and hot tub ;)
The owners were very friendly and helpful too

“Ideal for big get togethers”
Reviewed 3 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Fantastic property, plenty of character and nicely furnished. Was ideal for a large get together of friends. The layout of the lounge in Threshing Barn means everyone is included in what is happening. The sauna and spa are a brilliant addition. Hard to find fault with the property and plenty of toilet and bathroom facilities to avoid any early morning queues. Would definitely recommend this place.

Liked best: Size and layout ideal for our group.
Liked least: Having to pay extra for towels, given other linen was included in original hire cost would have expected bath towels to be in there too.

“Beautiful barn in an idyllic setting”
Reviewed 31 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

My family and I were looking for a reunion and long weekend away from home and this was the ideal place to come. The drive was only a couple of hours from Southampton where most of us were coming from and we were able to arrive at different times and settle in instantly.

The barn is very well appointed with everything you'd need for a few days or even weeks to have a comfortable stay and minimal stress. The living room is huge and provides more than enough space for an entire extended family. The kitchen is also big enough for the family to sit whilst others prepare food without getting in each others' way.

We spent most of our time walking around the countryside during the day, using the hot tub and sauna late afternoon and playing games in the cosy living room in the evening. It's exactly what we had in mind and we weren't disappointed.

We look forward to visiting again during the summer to make use of the pool!

“Friends get together”

A very spacious barn, lots of space for large groups. Loved the hot tub, and sauna, swimming pool was not in use due to time of year.
Kitchen well equipped , although a bit disappointing there only being 3 champagne glasses, but hey if that's the only problem, if you have a large group that want to get together, then do give it a try!

“Perfect for our elderly walking group "The Lemmings".”
Reviewed 6 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This was our second visit. 8 of us stayed in the Threshing Barn and Apple Barn. The facilities were perfect for us. We prepared our own meal on one evening and ate out at Halfway House and The Lime Kiln on the other two - the food was excellent at both. 2 of us enjoyed the swimming pool and hot-tub. More would have swum if the temperature had been higher (being elderly, we feel the cold more), but understand it is air-controlled, so couldn't be improved. However, that didn't impact on our enjoyment. Gill was very helpful and welcoming. Whilst there, we visited Wells, on market day, and Glastonbury (the little sanctuary garden near the Tor is well worth a visit). Also, the Haynes Motor Museum. It is a beautiful easy-walking area,
