“Really delicious food,”
Reviewed 9 December 2012

The food here is always exceptional, I have never been disappointed and I am quite fussy when I eat out. Eaten snacks, lunches and mains here, always delicious.
A bit more pricey than some but well worth the extra couple of quid.
The staff are great but service can be slow at busy times, so allow for a leisurely lunch as it isn't great if you are on a schedule.

“Consistently excellent”
Reviewed 4 December 2012

I eat here regularly - which is more than I can say for any other café in Glastonbury. The setting is pleasant, the food is fresh and of invariably high quality, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Service can be slow, but only at a level that you'd expect for freshly cooked food. There's really nothing I can think of to criticise about this consistently excellent café.

“Gorgeous Veggie Breakfast”
Reviewed 4 December 2012

The breakfasts here are amazing, and served all day. It is without question the best vegetarian breakfast I have eaten. The mushrooms, veggie sausage and saute potatoes are lovely, the tomatoes are nicely fried and cooked all the way through, none of it is greasy. This is the sort of perfection you get with a cook that has been doing this for years, and it shows. All of the food is freshly cooked to order, and served with a smile.
The waiting staff are very friendly, and it is nice to be greeted with a cheery `hello` and `goodbye`. We bumped into a local who has her own catering business in the area. She recommended this place above all others, and now we know why.
Thankyou Lazy Gecko, we will be back next time we have our Glastonbury fix, i am already looking forward to eating here again. Maybe try some of those tempting looking home baked cakes that we saw on the counter.

“Nice relaxing atmosphere”
Reviewed 13 November 2012

I go to the Lazy Gecko for breakfast from time to time, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the menu is good and varied. The food takes a while to come out but it is cooked freshly to order and they use good quality ingredients! Its not the cheapest but well worth a visit! The garden is nice to sit out in the summer and Dogs are welcome. There is also seating outside the front of the cafe so you can sit and watch the world go by. The staff are attentive and friendly. definatly recommended.
