This is far more than just your average run-of-the-mill B&B. Just walking through the door is an experience in itself, I felt immediately at home and welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble and every detail is impeccable. The breakfast will keep you going all day (even when climbing the Tor). We had a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom in our room. For the first time I have immediately re-booked to go back again and plan on doing so many times. If I am ever in Glastonbury, this is where I will be staying.

Room Tip: Each room is themed and decorated in a different way, and I would be more than happy to take any of...

its like a witchcraft museum every room has been decorated to a very high standard. if you are looking for luxury this is the place to come.

Adele goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.

she even cooks gluten free breakfasts, not only in its own pan and own toaster but own oven as well. no cross contamination here,

rooms excellent food excellent and you can walk to the shops and pubs, they is even a Morrison at the back of the covenstead

This was our first time at The Covenstead, and it certainly won't be our last. Each room is a work of art, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. Adele is a brilliant hostess, friendly, chattly, and welcoming. The hotel itself is like a museum, and you can spend hours just looking at the decor and learning about the history of it all. And what can I say about the breakfast, other than incredible, it set us up for the day perfecty. The little gem can be summed up in once phrase: stay at The Covenstead, and you will never want to stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Would have been happy with any room!

Just had another perfect stay at the best B&B l have ever been to. Stayed several times before and it just gets better! The rooms are just amazing and each time we go there is always something wonderful new to see. As always the breakfasts were delicious and the Adele continues to be the perfect host. I love it at this wonderful b&b and at the end of each trip am always arranging my next one. I recommend this wonderful place to everyone and l am sure, like me, once will not be enough for you too.

The best place to stay while in Glastonbury. The originality and uniqueness of a boutique hotel at the price of a bed and breakfast. Great, interesting decor - more like a museum or house of curios in the communal areas! Friendly hostess, Adele, who has an incredible depth of knowledge on local history, ancient history, witchcraft and wizardry and all things esoteric and metaphysical.

Amazing breakfast. Plus it's in the centre of town opposite the Abbey so perfect location.

We stayed at the Covenstead hotel on the 8 th of May for 1 night on our honeymoon tour, we stayed in the the Handfasting Honeymoon suite, from the moment we arrived the hotel owner Adele made us so very welcome she was so friendly, the house is utterly amazing, filled with all manner of Wiccan paraphernalia from floor to ceiling, you really have to go see this place and drink in its peaceful, spiritual atmosphere, Adele was freely willing to give us explanations on all the artefacts she has on display, nothing was too much trouble at all! The room was beautiful and so very romantic, with a wonderful bathroom and fantastic view over Glastonbury abby. Breakfast was amazing too, with a full cooked breakfast, toast, crumpets, fresh fruit with honey and yoghurt and all manner of spreads, it was like a banquet with an amazing table and chairs to sit around and eat from also! this place was a very peaceful amazing museum of sorts! a must see!

Adele was so welcoming! As soon as we stepped into the Covenstead, it was just an amazing place - you got to see it to believe it! Artefacts, books, stuffed animals and so many fantastic rooms - rooms to sleep in, rooms to meditate it, rooms to relax and natter in, a kitchen for those late night hot chocolates and nibbles - Adele thinks of everything. My room was beautifully decorated with a bottle of water and a kitkat by the massive and comfortable four poster bet. Breakfast was just awesome - fresh fruit salad and a huge fryup was my choice and I didn't go hungry.
If you're into your witchy stuff or just want a totally different place to stay, I can highly recommend it!
