From the moment you walk into Covenstead you feel at home, every room has been carefully planned and each theme . Adele is such an amazing, vibrant and caring hostess, she doesn't neglect even the smallest detail and her customer service is second to none. The added bonus is she fully understands that coeliacs need their food cooked separately and caters for this by keeping everything separate. The breakfasts are amazing! The beds are very comfy and the whole stay is an amazing experience. I can't recommend this highly enough- I wont be staying anywhere else

We stayed as a coven and basically took over the place. Not only was Adele the perfect host she was a fascinating person to listen to and has so many interesting items around the place, its like a treasure trove of delights! I could move in here and never be bored! It is quirky, unusual and a totally amazing place to stay but tthe beds are the most comfortable ive ever stayed in and the breakfast is too die for with so much choice and everything cooked to perfection!! We will be there again for many more coven vists in the future. Thank you Adele for a fantastic break xxxxx

Room Tip: All rooms are fabulous and themed so best to ask Adele when booking for the one which will suit your needs, i can recommend all of them!!

This is far more than just your average run-of-the-mill B&B. Just walking through the door is an experience in itself, I felt immediately at home and welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble and every detail is impeccable. The breakfast will keep you going all day (even when climbing the Tor). We had a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom in our room. For the first time I have immediately re-booked to go back again and plan on doing so many times. If I am ever in Glastonbury, this is where I will be staying.

Room Tip: Each room is themed and decorated in a different way, and I would be more than happy to take any of them. However each room would not suit every taste, so check out the online pictures to help with your choice.

its like a witchcraft museum every room has been decorated to a very high standard. if you are looking for luxury this is the place to come.

Adele goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.

she even cooks gluten free breakfasts, not only in its own pan and own toaster but own oven as well. no cross contamination here,

rooms excellent food excellent and you can walk to the shops and pubs, they is even a Morrison at the back of the covenstead

This was our first time at The Covenstead, and it certainly won't be our last. Each room is a work of art, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. Adele is a brilliant hostess, friendly, chattly, and welcoming. The hotel itself is like a museum, and you can spend hours just looking at the decor and learning about the history of it all. And what can I say about the breakfast, other than incredible, it set us up for the day perfecty. The little gem can be summed up in once phrase: stay at The Covenstead, and you will never want to stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Would have been happy with any room!
