“Five day break”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Stayed here last week for five days and enjoyed our time there. The place is very clean and staff very friendly. I was worried when we were put on the ground floor right next to the road but the noise was not a problem. The only thing I would have liked was to be able to open a window.

We just wanted to thoroughly recommend this great hotel! We have spent 3 nights here, it's conveniently located for getting to both Glastonbury and Street (the hotel is smack bang between the two) nice restaurant is on site and the staff are only too happy to help with any questions or if you need anything extra for the room. I noticed another reviewer mentioned that the windows couldn't be opened, this helps block out any traffic noise (you'd not know that there was a main road right outside our room!) and there is good air conditioning so the non opening windows thing isn't an issue!

Have stayed in Premier Inns before and this one met the brief for the standard of the rooms car park etc but the Brewers Fayre really let's it down as other reviewers state. Breakfast was ok especially if you opted for a more continental version but we tried one evening meal.. Staff very poor and disinterested, both orders incomplete. Food quality poor. Will definitely not book a Premier Inn with separate eating facilities

We have stayed at various Premier Inns before and the standards have been exceptional. The staff here are good and the room decor/cleanliness as expected. However the windows are totally sealed which meant the rooms have a sense of stale air. At night we had to sleep with the AC on, the room was still to hot on the lowest temperature setting and the air dried out which made the stay uncomfortable. When we mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning she was apologetic and aware of the problem. Apparently Premier Inn are building like this now, which may put us of booking with them again. So if you like fresh air think about booking somewhere else.
Food in restaurant very disappointing. We had the buffet Italian, the pasta had dried out, pizza was not pizza, dried bread with tomato puree on it. Salad just tomatoes and some mass produced pasta salad.

This is a very convenient hotel which is fresh, clean and modern. Stayed for one night and bed comfortable. Staff very helpful and approachable. No road noise. Good large car park. Didn't use restaurant as had eaten elsewhere but it looked nice.

This is the first time we have asked for money back on meal and we will never return . We did get a refund ,but how they can serve such poor quality meat and vegetables when they have a national reputation to up hold is beyond me. The meat was like cardboard ,and that was after we waited for fresh to come out. The cabbage and carrots were cold and overcooked, and the spuds were like bullets. The staff were unable to cope with the demand even though we had told them prior we were coming and they had confirmed they had booked sufficient tables for us. Some of the party had still not sat down whilst others had their food. A total shambles ,with an especially unpleasant waitress who made us feel we had asked for the world when requesting tomato sauce !.

We stayed in this Premier Inn in January and April 2014, ample car parking, welcoming, very helpful staff, exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms, and YES the beds, pillows and duvets are so comfortable. We will definitely stay again
