While we stayed at the Premier Inn next door, we ate here a couple of times and found the service very good.

We had Italian buffet. Pasta had dried out, pizza was dried bread with tomato puree on it and little topping. Salad was tomatoes with pasta salad. Very, very poor.

Ate here as it's next to the premier Inn we were booked into. 6 adults and 6 children. Service to order was slow, turned out we should of paid for the meal deal in the premier inn- news to us!! food to arrive was slow. Dinner was nice though, no complaints. Loved the fish pie. Very filling. Kids had the Wednesday buffet which they enjoyed. Took ages from our dinner plates being cleared till our desserts arrived, around 40 minutes.
Breakfast in the morning was something else. Usual premier inn breakfast where the continental laid out for us to choose from and order the hot. But kept running out of bowls, orange juice ,tea spoons, milk etc. then took over half hour for our hot breakfast to arrive but there were 12 of us and it was all cooked to order. However, my sons 3 boiled eggs were raw, and the screamed egg was soggy and swimming in the water from the mushrooms. Then Two breakfasts which had fried eggs had some black stringy stuff under it?? Not good.

Despite having mixed views about this restaurant we were pleasantly surprised. Our food was cooked to perfection. There is however an £8.99 buffet available which I would recommend avoiding....unless you like chicken and chips and a little bit of salad because that's all the buffet was! For a Saturday night I was disappointed with the number of staff on, there were just two girls behind the bar taking food and drink orders and I had to wait for 10 mins to get served. There is a small seating area if you want a drink away from food, this however was just three small tables...unless you want to sit outside! Overall this restaurant met my expectations and we enjoyed our meal and a couple of drinks
