“Poor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

Being a fussy eater (and not just because it's in the news) I asked the manager whether the meat was halal or not as it would determine what I ordered. He did not know! Knowing premier inn support halal food I choose the veggie option unfortunately also the veggie option is very poor here. Considering the price I was rather disappointed i had to queue to order food and drinks. None of the staff seemed interested In their work and there wasn't a smile amongst them. Will go "local" next time. Shame on premier inn And brewers fayre as never been promted to write a bad review before.

“Breakfast only”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Poor menu choice, and had run out of the only thing I fancied on the menu early in the evening. When the food finally arrived it wasn't very good at all. Staff friendly and helpful but overall let down by the food quality/choice. Ok for breakfast but I would definitely choose elsewhere to eat in the evening on the next visit.

“Had to go to Tesco!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

Stayed at Premier inn Friday night service and meal was very good. Saturday so different. On arrival told 30min wait.for main course . 50 mins later :no starter .Patience running out .Our whole order had been lost due to the computer!!! NO offer to fast track our meal .We walked out with a refund and had to go to Tesco for a cold meal to eat in our room. Has this chain expanded to far too quickly ?

“Warning breakfast only!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014 via mobile

Booked a table for 10 for an evening meal, was not expecting much as with all these pub chains the menu's are generally "what do you want with your chips" which is fine as it should be easy to get it right!!?
Wrong, cold overcooked chips overcooked steaks, and inedible tomatoes. Wasn't expecting a high end meal or anything but this is standard pub grub. On the plus side staff friendly and breakfast was very good as included in hotel room rate.
