Peaceful and friendly environment in the heart of the land between Chalice Hill and Chalice Well. I felt nurtured in the beautiful house and garden.
John and Collette and the staff were welcoming, delightful and friendly.
I came for a rest and everything and everyone there helped to restore my balance.
I have stayed in many b/b's in Glastonbury over my years of visiting there and I would certainly place St Anne's at the top of my list.

Just a couple of minutes' walk from Chalice Well, St Anne's is a charming, welcoming guest house. I had the pleasure of staying for two nights in the Lakshmi room at the back of the house, and the view onto the garden and beyond to Chalice Hill was so serene and lovely I didn't even bother closing my blinds at night.

Collette is wonderfully warm and welcoming and the room was spotless, elegant (you'll have to ask if you want a TV in your room, though - I didn't, since it's the perfect place for quiet reflection!) and well equipped. It's not often you get a generous supply of tea bags and proper ground coffee and a cafetiere in your room, but it's a touch of luxury much appreciated after a schlep down the M5!

Breakfast included a selection of self-serve fruits, cereals, juices and yoghurts as well as a wonderfully cooked-to-order veggie breakfast in my case. Again, this was a cut above the usual B&B fare - St Anne's clearly has a herb garden to be proud of! Although my fellow guests didn't seem to be such early birds as me so I had the breakfast room to myself, there's just one (charmingly presented!) table for all the guests so I can imagine that some wonderful conversations could be struck up with your fellow visitors if you coincided with them.

The B&B is a short walk from Glastonbury town centre, making it a nice combination of slightly off the beaten track for quietness but handy for getting into the centre when you want to.

All in all, a great place to stay for a tranquil break in the heart of Avalon.

Spotless and comfortable room. Good facilities and a delicious breakfast with local produce and a large selection of juices and cereals as well as a full English!

Lovely welcoming hosts and first class massage in the yurt. Close to Tor and Chalice Well gardens, short walk to town. We will return.

St Anne's B&B was the perfect place for our long weekend in Glastonbury. The location is excellent being 5 mins walk from the Chalice Well Gardens ( the house backs onto the Chalice Well Gardens so you can really feel the magical energies), Tor and White Springs and less than 10 mins from the High Street. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the house is very peaceful and tranquil. The breakfast each morning was excellent with a choice of cooked breakfast, juices, cereals and tea or coffee ( also herbal teas are available). John and Collete were very warm and welcoming hosts and made us feel at home. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return later in the year!

St Anne's b & b is well located for all the historical sites, and is a 10 minute walk to the high street, The garden surrounding the b & b is tranquil and relaxing to sit in. Collette and John are very welcoming, and hospitable. The accommodation was excellent room was comfortable and cosy with an Indian theme. After a good nights rest in this peaceful location we enjoyed a cooked breakfast with a good choice of alternative menus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

This charming B&B is in a fabulous location, within easy walk of many of the Glastonbury attractions, including the Tor, Chalice Well, and the downtown area. At the same time, it is very quiet and peaceful. The relaxed atmosphere and warm welcome from John and Colette were matched only by the delicious breakfasts in the company of the lovely people who were also guests there! Very convivial. I look forward to visiting again.

Room Tip: The 'Morocco Room' has a lovely view across the valley.
