No. 51 Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #9 of 53 Glastonbury B&B and Inns
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Marion and Malcolm are the greatest two people you will ever meet and it was a privilege to stay at their beautiful B&B. We stayed for three nights in the Tor room which was spacious, immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is close to all Glastonbury has to offer-everything is within a short walk's reach. We instantly felt welcome and loved the delicious morning breakfasts that need to be experienced to be believed. Their wit and kindness is unmatched and we were very sad to leave this lovey gem. We hope to return in the future and cannot recommend No. 51 highly enough!

Room Tip: The Tor room is fantastic!

Malcolm and Marion are excellent hosts, with a pre-drawn map of what to see in that historic area of Glastonbury / on the edge of the city - climbed part way up the Tor, walked quiet roads and through meadows. The B&B is only 4 years old, and our room and bathroom were reasonable size, comfortable and quiet. Delicious breakfast, including homemade bread. Good parking out front, and a fairly short walk to downtown. We enjoyed dining in the George and Pilgrims Hotel pub, established as a coach inn in 1452 (pub walls looked original, and the furniture was perhaps a few centuries newer. Dinner was quite good).

Room Tip: Probably doesn't matter

We had a short but lovely stay at NO51. Malcolm and Marion made us feel very welcome. Nice clean rooms and very good breakfast, free WIFI. It is only a short walk into the town centre. Will definitely return.

I visited no. 51 last week and I think Malcolm and Marion have set the standard very high for my future B&B experiences! The property is immaculate, close to Glastonbury township. Breakfasts were amazing and nothing too much trouble. My bedroom with ensuite was luxury. But more than anything I'd recommend No. 51 for the outstanding service, the complete package.

No. 51 is a great bed and breakfast with very friendly hosts. It is in a great location close to the high street in Glastonbury. We stayed in the upper room, it was a large room with a comfy bed and big bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. The television has more then enough channels, the WiFi is fast and there is plenty of outlets. The breakfast was amazing too. Malcolm and Marion were great hosts.

It is the best b&b I ever stayed at. Malcolm & Marion made our short but memorable stay special. We had spacious room upstairs with the most comfortable bed ever. Everything is spotless and kept in pristine condition. Full English breakfast was tasty and filling - exactly what we needed before we conquered the Tor. Will definitely be back.
