This B&B is a delight beyond measure! It is in the old Slipper Chapel of Glastonbury Abbey and was built in the 13th Cnetury, making it one of (if not the) oldest residential buildings in Glastonbury. Just walking through the door is like stepping into another world.
It is close to the High Street on a quiet road which leads to a lovely walk to the Tor and has a wonderful terraced garden with all sorts of nooks and crannies to be cosy in, including a summer house for poetry writing! There are only three rooms and all are wonderful, with their own "personalities". There is a also the most amazing yurt for rent at the top of the garden and staying there is like being in the "Arabian Knights".
The breakfast is very relaxed and also healthy, with a great deal of organic and/or locally produced produce on offer. Delicious!
Although I don't usually stay in women only B&Bs this one is wonderful and certainly not anti-men. It's just nice to share a house with women sometimes.
The owners are wonderful too and always available to give advice or just to chat.
I can't recommend this B&B highly enough.
