We stayed here recently on a Saturday night.Room was very nice,Bed very comfortable.Tea,coffee making facilities with some biscuits and chocs/sweets which are a nice touch!Toiletries also included which came in handy. The back garden was nice to sit in,and very quiet too!Breakfast was delicious (Cooked english)and the menu very good too.Selection of cereals.fruits and so on.A very enjoyable stay and we would use this hotel again.A taxi into Glastonbury was £10.50 (dropped outside the backpackers hostel)and around £15.00 returning (we came back after midnight).

Stayed here a night with my girlfriend in the Merlin room. Great room with a lovely high ceiling and all the amenities. The place has real character and the owner is very friendly. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here when visiting relatives in Glastonbury, it was only a 10 min drive away and in a quiet location even though it was on the main road, the hotel staff were helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was cooked or continental so eveyone was catered for.
The room was quirky and clean but the shower was not very powerful, bit of a trickle and the bed was too hard for me but thats a personal choice.

It was good value and would consider again when in the area.

We stayed for two nights and had a really enjoyable time. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though we arrived much later than planned - at near midnight - we were warmly welcomed and having rung ahead delicious sandwiches were waiting. The house is lovely. We stayed in the Mendip room with fourposter and were very comfortable. The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the nature reserves so we were able to get up early to see the dawn explosion of starlings and then soon be back for a full English breakfast. We would certainly stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, we had to opt for a superior double as we dogs with us. The grounds are lovely, very pretty house. The room was ok, it was a nice size with an en suit, the decor was very tired and dated, was in serious need of freshening up. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever tried to sleep in, so uncomfortable infact, i got out and slept on the floor... the mattress needs replacing, it felt as if there were no springs. When on the floor i also noticed a very furry red tablet under the foot of the bed, not a major issue as i binned it before the dogs got hold of it, but really shouldn't have been there. Excellent l location for access to the marshes.
