“super break at The Glastonbury Townhouse”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2013

Greg looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble. He was warm and friendly and very approachable. The house was spotless and everything worked. The bed was really comfy and the shower was lovely and hot with good pressure. The breakfasts were super. I would recommend The Glastonbury Townhouse to anyone.

Lovely! Greg was welcoming and friendly, and happy to help us find our way around Glastonbury. The room was clean and comfortable, and yummy breakfast in the morning. Excellent location, with easy walk into the heart of Glastonbury for shops, pubs, cafés etc, and Greg can recommend a great walk to take in the Tor, Chalice Well, and Abbey. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: it's on a quite busy road: our room was at the back of the house, overlooking the garden, and wa...

We had a 2 night stay in this wonderful B & B. Breakfast ( lots of it!) was delicious. The double room was very comfortable and we had a good sleep on both nights. Off road parking was certainly a big plus and right by the door too. Greg was a very good host, even carrying in our case and was on hand to ensure we had everything we required. Location was ideal being only a short stroll to the high street. We will definitely be doing a return visit.

Room Tip: Only 1 Double room so you cannot go wrong.

Just stayed at The Glastonbury Town House for a long weekend for our anniversary, and what a great weekend we had. Greg is lovely, the best host we have ever come across, more like an old friend and missing him already. The Town House is in a great location a few minutes walk into town with off road parking. It is tastefully decorated throughout, and the rooms are comfortable with everything you need. The breakfasts are delicious, the best we have ever had. Greg goes out of his way to make everything just right. He helped with places to visit and where to eat, even booking a Chinese restaurant for us. At breakfast on our anniversary he had even baked us a cake, which we thought was lovely. We will defiantly stay again and highly recommend to anyone staying in Glastonbury.

We were welcomed at the door by Greg, the owner, as we arrived at Glastonbury Town House for our two night stay, where we could park right in front of the door. The atmosphere within the house is done by Greg, who is one of the best host we have ever met, warm, friendly and helpful in everything. Nothing is too much trouble and he really makes you feel welcomed in his house. It doesn't feel like just a B&B, it feels like visiting an old friend. Our room had a double bed which was really comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with everything you need. If it is not enough, just ask Greg and he will provide anything he can. The "kettle" was stuffed with coffee, tea, chocolate and biscuits. Greg even produced ice for me since I like to have my soda very cold. Breakfast was really yummy, freshly made and kept us going for the entire day. And Greg’s biscuits are delightful. We asked him for advise on an Indian restaurant in town and he told us exactly where to go and we had a delicious meal. We will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend this wonderful place to friends, family and anyone who asks.

I have just returned from a 3 night break at the Glastonbury Town House, and it was just fabulous.
The location was perfect - we did a lot of walking and so the fact that the Town House was located 4-5 minutes walk from the centre of town and the Abbey was a bonus!

Greg was the warmest host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had - a lovely selection of fruits, cereals, yoghurt, 'full English' if you wanted it, (or any variation), and even kippers if that's your thing! Our room (Room 1) was a twin room on the 1st floor, with a view into the garden. The beds were lovely and comfy, with crisp clean sheets, the room was warm and cosy, and there was a full selection of teas, coffees, biscuits in the room. Oh! and I liked the turn down in the evening with the little chocolate on the bed! Nice touches Greg which made our stay very memorable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to family and friends. Thanks Greg!

We received a very warm welcome from Greg as we arrived at Glastonbury Town House for our two night stay. The atmosphere within the house is warm and welcoming which is a reflection of Greg, who is a great host, friendly and relaxed. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in room 2 and the double bed was really comfortable and everywhere was lovely and clean. Breakfast was really tasty and kept us full until our evening meal. Greg’s homemade biscuits are yummy. We will certainly stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.
