We were soaking wet after our Tor visit and this was our 2nd pub.
Its a pub. What more do you want?
Friendly staff and locals not many people about as the weather was awful.
Good Corvus stout. There was no food on but we were told if we bought a takeaway we could eat it in the pub.

I love the Beckets and visit whenever I am in the area. OK, yes, it might need some tlc in some areas but I really do not care about things like that. What does matter is a cheap pool table, friendly service, lovely dogs, a great juke box and best of all, Cheese Moments. I will keep coming here as long as I can.

Having used this pub since 1979 although not reasently as I live away from glastonbury. This Saturday I walked into my old haunt to the back bar. I was told that it was private part of the pub and members only. Having spent many a good night in this pub and much cash over the years. I find this throwback to past exclusion on the grounds of social standing offensive. I wounder if it is legal. On purchasing a drink I have the right to sit within the license premise and drink my drink. The back bar is part of the public drinking area

Not a particlarly wide range of beers, it is a Wadworth pub, but what it does have it keeps and serves well. Not dog friendly but that's because they have two equally friendly/insane dogs of their own.

Visited on a weekday afternoon for a few pints with my husband. It's a cosy, friendly pub with excellent ales and complimentary bar snacks. It's homely and honest..with no pretensions to grandeur. The priority is good ale and that's what it excels at. Lovely few hours spent sitting in the window supping their selection.
