We are not religious and often avoid the ABC places but Wells Cathedral was a beautiful experience. The architecture inside and out is breathtaking; the information centre in the under croft was well worth a visit for the clear and concise explanation of the cathedral history - what a pity they couldn't give it a better name/ title so we knew what was there! The guides and helpers all wear blue sashes so are easy to spot and do a brilliant job of making one welcome. Tea and cake in the cafe rounds off the visit.

Visited the Cathedral in April with family enjoyed it immensely. There are so many beautiful things to see especially the world famous clock and the amazing windows. It is definitely a important stop over for anyone in the area. lovely restaurant, a free guided tour and provided you make a charitable contribution to the Cathedral you can take pictures. We even got to met the Cathedral Ginger cat.

Wells has to have the most beautiful cathedral the west front with the medieval statues is truly amazing and the inside is equally stunning. Free tours are offered and anyone visiting Wells should make this their first stop

I used to go to the wells blue school in wells and used to have my lunch on the cathedral green. It wasn't until i went to uni i understood how amazing and beautiful it is. I took some of my uni friends around the cathedral inside, and i think i enjoyed it more than them!!
