We arrived in Wells when the rain was pouring, at 12 o clock with kids whining for food on a market day in the summer hols! Knowing all the little cafes would be full I suggested this pub when we walked past it on the way from the car park into the centre.
We shared a bowl of cheesy chips & two baguettes between 2 adults & 2 young children. It was lovely & there was plenty. The prices were good and they welcomed dogs which was nice. We didn't have ours with us but will go back again.
