“A perfect cosy cottage in a perfectly peaceful location”
Reviewed 4 weeks ago for a stay in May 2018

Located near to the lovely city of Wells, this cottage is tucked out of the way and the first thing you notice is the absolute peace and quiet. The cottage has every amenity, lovely decor and is a real home from home. It was the perfect location for us to visit family and wish we could have stayed longer. It also provided the ideal retreat from our busy trip back to the UK. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Many thanks.

“Simply Great!”
Reviewed 27 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We have just returned from a week's stay in this delightful cottage.

The owners Chris & Viv have thoughtfully provided many added extras to make your stay an enjoyable one. Fantastic interaction via email beforehand too.

The cottage has all mod cons, a sun trap patio area, ample parking at rear and it really is comfortable.

A scenic walk into Wells town centre (or bus stop minutes away too), with its shops, lovely restaurants and a beautiful cathedral. This is an ideal base to explore Bath, Cheddar Gorge and many other attractions.

“Spot On!”
Reviewed 15 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We booked the cottage for 3 night but it was perfect. Firt of all the location was beautifull! So peiecefull... just how we like it. The cottage its self was so cosy. With sky tv, choice of dvd's and books.
The kitchen was very well equiped and right next to the living room so you can still be in conversation with the rest of the group. Plenty of utensils, pans, plates, cuttlery ect. The host also add that little bit extra of a few bits and bobs like bread, butter, jam, milk ect ... so after a very long journey there we could have a brew n relax.
The town was an easy walk away with lots of bits to see and do with plenty of pubs and cafe's, it started raining as we was in the town so we got the bus back which stopped right at the side of the top houses then it was only a short 2 minute walk down hill to the cottage.
We visited chedder gorge caves while we were there which was a fantastic day thip also we visited longleat safari park and house which was another fantastic day out. Only about a 40 minute drive in either direction both very svenic routes.
The only issue we had was there was a street light outside the downstairs bedroom that shon right in but there was a hook up sheet supplied but didnt realise what it was until we was packing up (we arnt nosey enough to look, our fault not the host). Couldnt recoment this enough it was "Spot On"
Just like to thank the hosts again for such a loveley stay and we hope to visit again!

“One not to Miss!!!”
Reviewed 26 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

I had thought that I wouldn't write a review this time as this cottage is so perfect you will all want to book a holiday here and there won't be any dates left for us! Anyway - being of a generous nature - I finally decided I would share our secret hideaway with you! However if you can avoid booking in November we would be grateful!!!

“Great cottage”
Reviewed 6 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Perfect stay in a great little cottage. All the amenities we needed and really comfy beds. Chris and Viv were perfect hosts. Being able to walk into Wells and leave the car was a bonus. Plenty of parking.
