A visit with our local pensioners club on a fairly cold morning . We were welcomed in the cafeteria by our guide for the morning and after nice cup of coffee we were off on the grand tour of Lichfield from the middle ages to the present time. Inevitably much of the information is via DVD but there was plenty of artefacts laid out in wonderful displays. The building itself is very well preserved, with original organ, and the alter behind a clear screen which upstairs gives an elevated view of the stained glass window, something you rarely see.
