Stayed here with 13 friends for a 40 th birthday celebration.
Got a great deal on the rooms for a group booking .£30 a person including full breakfast.
The rooms were huge and very nicely decorated.spotlessly clean.
This is a very old building full of character with sloping floors old beams and giant brick fireplaces in some rooms.
Bathrooms full of toiletries.Good choice of tea, coffee, hot choc and biscuits in the room.Hairdryer, iron, ironing board ,extra pillows.Everything you could need.
The hotel is right on the high street so was great for us going out on the town at night. There were some nice pubs and two dance clubs if you wanted a boogie.
Vast choice at breakfast the next morning all cooked to order from full English, omelettes eggs benedict fruity porridge etc plus the usual continental breakfast item which you could help yourself to.
Very helpful friendly staff .
Free car park around the back of the hotel.Just collect a parking permit when you check in.
