“Little pricey but enjoyable”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Good variety of birds and wildlife, and while I appreciate they need to be cared for the attraction is a touch expensive. Didn't like the reptiles, but that's a personal thing.

“Bird of prey up close”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

We booked my Father-in-law a one to one experience in bird of prey handling as an extra birthday treat. A fantastic afternoon, seeing the big smile on his face flying a Harris Hawk (Jack), and having his family around him whilst staff gave an informed talk on falconry and birds of prey. A highly recommended experience - well worth the money. Oh and then being able to explore the centre was an added bonus, getting up close with well loved, monkeys, raccoons, lemurs, and Saxon the Wolf.

“great day for the kids”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 via mobile

Took three children, 7, 4 and 2 for a day. Managed to keep them busy from 10:30 till 2ish. It was a fairly sunny day and so a lot of this was taken up by using the playground which contained a rabbit warren, with some lovely baby rabbits in too. The train ride was £1 a ticket and was enjoyed by all. The animals caged were well cared for by very professional staff. Stay for the bird of prey show. The staff were excellent and funny as well as professional. Good value all told.

“Worth Every Penny and More”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

We visited this place today after getting a Wowcher voucher and we were impressed. Really beautiful animals and the birds of prey were amazing. Unfortunately we got there too late for the display but even so just looking at the birds themselves was great. Lots of different animals there as well, a beautiful wolf dog and lots of other things too. I got to hold a Corn Snake which was a first for me!
We used the cafe which had very good service and reasonable prices too. There is a large play and picnic area, a crazy golf and a train too so well worth visisting.

“FAB”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Finally visited after meaning to go for a long time. There were 8 of us 4 adults and 4 children and we all from the youngest (3yrs) to the oldest (65yrs) loved it. 1stly its wasn't expensive and the animals were so cute. The whole place is ran on charity contributions and they do an amazing job. We spoke to 1 of the workers as she was feeding some of the animals and she was lovely and really informative. There are plenty of places to sit down and once you have your ticket you can come and go that day. Its attached to a garden centre which was quite nice, There is also a train for the children and a crazy golf which my nieces and nephews had grwat fun playing. We were there in total anout 3-4hrs and it was great, will definitely go again
