We arrived after a week in Blackpool and a day in Alton Towers, to be greeted by the receptionist Chris, who was very friendly and great with our children. He made us feel very welcome and was extremley helpful. he recommended the Chinese Buffet (which is just accross the road) This was the best chinese we have ever had they were so friendly, and the food was amazing including the chocolate fountain mmmm.
The room its self was comfortable and clean, we were in a family room with 3 children, I was told that it would contain a sofa bed and a z-bed and the main bed. I thought the sofa bed would have been a double, therefore everyone having space to sleep, it wasn't it was a single. Although not what I thought I had booked it was fine my 2 young boys just topped and tailed.
The breakfast, (which was free for our children) was ok, the cooked food was cold and the beans weren't cooked at all, the bacon was hard and the mushrooms ( which i love) we awful, the selection of all the other food was good with a good choice of drinks as well.
I would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay somewhere cheap and clean and most of all comfy.
