Lovely hotel, good service with friendly staff. The rooms was large and had everything we needed. We really did have a good nights sleep as guaranteed. The bed linen is fresh and crisp and beautifully clean.

We stayed here for one night beofre a family wedding.
We checked in around 6pm which was nice and smooth. The blonde lady who checked us in was very nice, professional and very helpful. She explained the times fro breakfast and also the opening times for the play area in the pub next door (Redhill).
The rooms were lovely and had that nice new/clean smell. They were very roomy and enough space for all of us.
The beds were nice and comfortable with nice clean white sheets. There was a double bed, a single bed and also an addional single bed to accomadate both my little girls.
The room was very clean a was the bathroom with plenty of towels for a family of 4.

The pub next door does average pub meals which were reasonable and quite tasty.
We expected it to be a noisy night as its next to the motorway but this didn't effect us as we slept fine as there was no excessive motorway noise.

Breakfast the follwoing morning was great and well enjoyed by all. My husband and me both went for the all you can full english (£7.99) and the kids ate free. When ordering you cooked breakfast they ask you what you would like (Bacon, sausage, egg etcc) and how many of each. Along side that there is a vast selection of continental including in the price with breads, croissants, muffin, fruits, cereals and fruit juices. Also the coffee is costa coffee which we loved. We all enjoyed and it set us up for the long day ahead.

Overall is would say we were more then impressed with this hotel and would stay here again without a second though... Lovely staff, rooms and food!!! :)

My husband and I arrived - pre-booked on the night of Friday 26th November. I had discovered soon after leaving home in Cornwall that my mobile phone was very low on battery. When we arrived at our room after a good welcome from the receptionist, I discovered that I had brought the wrong battery charger. The two girls on reception were great. One of them thought that she knew someone in the Brewers Inn next door who might have had the same connection and that she would be able to charge it overnight and let us have it back in the morning. Unfortunately it was not the right battery charger either, but we were allowed to use the desk phone to phone our daughter in london and my sister in the lake district to tell us where we were and how we were doing. We had a brilliant meal that night at Brewers and a brilliant nights sleep. When I woke in the morning I discovered it had snowed quite a lot overnight and was doubtful that we could carry on north. However we did, and got to our destination in good time. The receptionist also told us that if we stopped at the first services we might be able to have our mobile phone charged up at the phone shop there. This we did and were therefore able to keep in touch with family along the way. We would have stayed there on the way back too - as it was about half way from Cornwall to our destination, but on the way back we were followed by snow and decided to push on home. We would definitely recommend the friendly service at the Premier Inn and the comfort of the rooms was great. The breakfast by the way was quite spectacular.

Both the Hurricane and Spitfire Premier Inns are on the same site, so there is nothing to choose between them. In my experience of Premier Inns this appears a little older than others but is well maintained and comfortable. The standard of beds and linens is equal to every other Premier Inn which is a very high.
My visit was during term time and autumn so was frequented by visitors such as myself, business customers en route as the M6 runs alongside it. ( Fear not it is very quite nonetheless.) However I understand that it is the nearest budget hotel to Alton Towers and in the season would be constantly full, so booking early is advised.
But if I were a traveller I would want to carefully consider whether or not I was going to be in the company of families, and also school and youth group parties of which this hotel would have a higher level than most. If you are a youth group or school I can highly recommend it as the hotel has conventional corridors which would make supervision easy. I would recommend this hotel to a friend with the proviso they think carefully first about the time of year and their own requirements in relation to their stay.
I have to commend the warmth of welcome - the young woman on reception was second to none. Thank you.

We arrived at Stafford North Spitfire Premier Inn very late about 23:30 maybe later and even though it was late and dark the night receptionist was just as helpful as what you would get during the day and we had a nice conversation with him then we went to our room, this is the only Premier Inn I have been to which using proper keys and not key cards but it was a nice cosy, relaxing room that we had.

No comment on the main meals in the restaurant as we went to a wedding the next day so we had dinner there but the lunch was very nice and so was the breakfast.

We stopped for one night on our way to the Lake District. We didn't arrive until 22.30 and all restaurants in the immediate area were closed. Not a problem according to the friendly receptionist who handed us a take away menu for a nearby Italian restaurant who offer a delivery service!

After a good nights sleep, we headed over to the pub/restaurant next door for our full English breakfast which was excellent. Table service, freshly cooked to order in a relaxing atmosphere.

Full marks for delivering exactly what was needed for an overnight stop. Highly recommended!
