“Nice clean value room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2011

Friendly staff & clean comfy room. Basic facilities but covered all you need for a budget hotel, could have supplied a few more tea bags in the room but bed linen was clean & fresh, bed was comfy & so were the pillows. Could do with having another chair in the room when travelling with someone else. Overall it was nice quiet hotel & near to Alton Towers which was the purpose of the stay.

We stayed here as an alternative to forking out a fortune for the Alton Towers hotels. I booked about a month in advance on line and got a family room for £39.00. The room was clean and warm with all the usual facilities. We had our 2 children with us and the room was already prepared with their beds made up. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the whole looked tidy and well cared for. It was also easy to find with the directions given on the booking form. The only downside was the fact that you could hear people in the room above but it wasn't really a problem. We would use this hotel again for Alton towers visits.

The Room was nice but no fan or air con in the room which was a nightmare. Could hear people walking around upstairs all night. Breakfast was nowhere near the standard of a usual premier inn.

was stopping over one night entertaining some quests in Stafford only to find rude receptionist dirty towels and a what seemed to be a breakfast out of a tin and heated through in the microwave. on a plus note the bed was very pleasant and is a very good location for the m6. shall not be returning.

This was our 2nd stay at this Premier Inn, as we were spending the day at Alton Towers, so booked the night before so not to have a long morning drive. The hotel is about a 30 min drive to Alton Towers, which is fine. The hotel was choosen based on the restaurant and fun factory so it would keep the youngest entertained while waiting for our meals. The staff are welcoming, meals are a good standard and reasonably priced, the self serve cooked breakfast is great as you can have what you like and as much as you want. The rooms are as described and had a good night sleep even though our window when closed had a gap, which allowed more noise from outside to be heard. We would stay here again and recommend to friends and family

We arrived here on a Friday night with my other half, my daughter and her friend we used this as a stop over for Alton Towers which was only 25mins away so very handy, my daughter had a room facing on to the carpark, we had the room facing on to the road but we thought it be ok as it was on a bussniess park we thought being weekend it would be quiet how wrong was we.... there was a constence flow of lorries an cars all night, i mentioned it to the receptionist on our way out that morning an she said if it is the same tonight let us know which it was an i did.. was expecting full refund as they have a good night promise but all they done was gave us breakfast on the house which was dissapointing as there was no bacon no eggs no muffins no juice an had to wait 30mins for it all so glad we didnt pay and this was the cheaper opition for premier inn...........

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the car park

Rooms are clean. Good location. Plenty parking spaces. Food next door was average pub grub but nothing to complain about.
