Hi stayed here to visit AltonTowers. very clean friendly staff. On ground floor so was good that we didn't have to worry about the kids Jim ping around. Next door was a brewers fayre with a large play area so was good to go to after visiting alton towers and didn't have any bother getting a table.

As the title suggests, we stayed here when visiting Alton Towers. It is ideally situated for this and although there are Premier Inns closer, they are more expensive so for the sake of no more than a 30 min drive, I would recommend staying here.
The staff were friendly and the staff in the adjoining restaurant were helpful and interested in your day etc. the restaurant was good and offered the usual pub food. We opted for the breakfast and evening meal deal. Breakfast was the usual for Premier Inn, which we really enjoy. The evening meal was good but you had a fairly limited selection of meals to choose from. We wouldn't choose this option again in future, especially as I'm a vegetarian and the option from the set menu we were given wasn't to my taste.
The rooms were very clean and exactly what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. All the facilities you needed and a great base.
My only small niggle was that there didn't seem enough space in the restaurant for all of the guests. It was very busy and I can imagine if we hadn't booked a meal, it would have been difficult to find a table. The wait for food was also a little long due to the sheer amount of people I would think. Breakfast wasn't a problem though and we found a table easily and the staff were very quick with some vegetarian sausages I asked for.
All in all, great value for money, good facilities, friendly staff and a perfect base for Alton Towers. Will definitely be staying again.

When coming up to Stafford for the weekend I searched for Premier Inn based on past experience and wasn't dissapointed.

The room was a decent size, clean, and well presented. The staff were friendly and very accomodating to our requests. Thanks again!

Highly recommend the Chinease restaurant just behind the hotel too!

As a regular user of Premier Inns this is no exception. Warm welcome, arriving around 7. 30 pm. Excellent room on first floor, overlooking large car park. Very quiet with an excellent nights sleep.
Breakfast in adjacent Brewers Fayre was of the usual high standard, although the service was rather slow considering the few customers present. Luckily it did not cause us any problem as we had sufficient time before our departure.

I stayed here for four nights whilst doing a course nearby. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were lovely and helpful, and despite overlooking the car park one floor up, I didn't experience any noise issues. The staff in the next door Brewers Fayre were equally as lovely and the Costa coffee machine was great, although I'd say the food, both the breakfast and evening meals were just mediocre.

A couple of minor issues came up, one was that only one towel was provided and I kept on having to ask for another one as the cleaners only replaced one. The other was the temperature in the room - after spending a good while working out how to use the heating system it kept re-setting itself to 18 degrees - fine for a summers day but not in the middle of winter... and one evening I came back to the room after being out all day and the cleaner had very kindly left the window wide open, meaning I walked into what felt like a freezer!

All in all it was great value for money and I'm going on another course in the same place later in the year, so I may well use this hotel again - but if I do I'm going to take my own blanket.
