Spent just a single night at Ingestre Lodges - wish we could have stayed longer!
The accommodation is simply gorgeous - 3 stable blocks have been turned into the most wonderful self-catering lodges, beautifully converted and retaining a wealth of original features, including the original tiled floors, wooden kickboards and vaulted ceilings.
The decor is eclectic and luxurious, with a mix of antique, modern and rustic pieces lending a truly unique look. The open-plan living/kitchen/dining space is perfect for entertaining and the well-equipped kitchen is a dream to be in (even if you're just making a morning cup of tea!).
Ingestre is a charming rural location, and the stables themselves are stunning - half of the block is still a working stable, with half converted to self-catering lodges. You arrive to a mix of friendly welcoming staff, horses clip-clopping around the block and dogs roaming free (my idea of heaven!).
Can't recommend this place enough!
