“Rod the Mod at Britannia Stadium”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Visited Britannia Stadium on June 14th 2014 for a Rod Stewart Concert. As usual Rod amazing, as was the venue. However, after the concert, trying to leave was an effort in itself. We waited nearly an hour to move our car into the queue! I saw plenty of "officials" hanging around, but it seemed no-one was taking control and directing traffic onto the main road. A shambles. It made us very late that night and after a very long journey up early that morning from South Wales. Come on, Britannia, review your traffic control for the next event. I hope football matches do not suffer like this.

“Great venue for concerts.”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Great venue for concerts however the food was expensive but again there is a captive audience. Plenty of food and drink stalls within the stadium. Mostly the same but ok.

“Rod Stewart concert”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Fantastic concert, as ever, by Rod Stewart. He gets better and better.
But the Britannia Stadium should spend more on the facilities. The toilets were absolutely disgusting - no paper, poor washing facilities, smelly and filthy. The stadium must have earned loads from this concert (judging by the price of the tickets) so why did they not employ people to man the toilets and clean them continually. The refreshments on site were lousy, tasteless and so expensive and you had to queue forever. Security were inexperienced. The crowd were happy, friendly and compliant so why were a couple of women security guards so aggressive? The security men were all great, appreciating the music and chatting away happily to the crowd but the security women kept threatening to stop the show and became quite nasty. They have a lot to learn. Sorry this sounds sexist but it is a fact. Step up your act Britannia Stadium.

“Rod Stewart Concert”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Saw Rod on Saturday 14th June at the Britannia Stadium Stoke and I have to say whilst Rod was the main attraction and was again excellent the night was all the better for the stadium set up and the marshals/staff who were very much on the side of the people in ensuring that they could enjoy the event and not be pressurised into officialdom. It was a very easy going atmosphere which made for a very enjoyable evening and very little trouble. Well done Britannia!!!
