Stayed here for three nights from 19th August until 22nd. Staff very polite and helpful. Very good value for money. Stayed here as we were going to alton towers for a few days. Takes about 30minutes to get to alton towers from here which was fine for us. Harvester next door for value meal. Rooms very clean. Breakfast adequate but not great. But you get what you pay for. Would stay here again

I stayed for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Express, Stoke on Trent, last weekend the 16th and17th August. The staff were well mannered, well spoken, polite, kind, caring and did all they could to make sure our stay was really nice. Our rooms were really good and I really enjoyed staying there. My father injured his leg on the saturday and that evening the hotel staff were on hand to help my dad. The self service breakfast was really good and I would reccommend the hotel and it's staff to everyone. It was a great place to stay, the facilities were really high in standard and it was a really lovely environment. The staff are real proffessionals, they look really smart and I would now like to work for the company at the local Holiday Inn Express in Folkestone Kent where we live and will be following up on that at some point as I am currently looking for work. I wanted to help out, seeing how much the staff clearly loved their jobs. We did all we could to make the life of the staff easier by keeping our room clean, neat and tidy and the staff rewarded us by making our room look really nice during our stay just by their doing their jobs. I think all the staff should win pride and quality awards for the work they do and the hotel should get an award too. A fantastic place to stay, a lovely hotel and fantastic, proffessional, polite, kind and caring staff. I would highly reccommend this hotel and it's staff to all.

Room Tip: There are lower and upper floor rooms, however the hotel are great at putting families together on t...

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel for a trip to Alton Towers. Great value, free wifi, pleasant staff. I requested adjoining rooms and got them. Breakfast is ok, not great. Location is good, just off motorway. Would have no problems staying here again.

Two night stay, with the family & Grandmother in tow. An ideal location for Alton Towers, only half an hour away, also ideally suited for the motorway network.
This is our second outing to a Holiday Inn hotel, the reason for booking again, great service, clean modern lines inside. The staff , The Management all on top of their game in offering a service to families during their stay, from milk for small children, to allocation of rooms with adjoining doors, for a family.
Evening time nice & quite, the bar offering grown up delights, the self service breakfast in the morning a little busy if your not early, but never running out.
Locally, next door in fact, a Harvester bar & grill offers something a little more substantial, great to feed hungry younglings after a hard days adventuring at Alton Towers.
Holiday Inn coming up trumps again, we will be returning to a hotel near you ! Enjoy.

Room Tip: If you travel with family, ask to have an adjoining room, worked well.

We stayed at this hotel as opposed to the drastically overpriced Alton Towers themed hotels. The reception staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. Our family room was very clean and ready on time.

We were on the first floor and on the front of the hotel. It was quiet. Car parking was simple and easy in the hotel grounds. The usual breakfast at Holiday Inn was fresh and plenty available. A large dining area served all guest well.

Right next door is a Harvester public house / restaurant which serves some good food with unlimited salad bar with all main meals, good for kids food too. Great stay for our 3 day Alton Towers mayhem :-)

Stayed at the H.I. Express last night for 1 night. Only 10 miles from our home in Cheddleton but a good alernative to expensive taxi fares. Reception/check in was very friendly& effcient . The Room was clean & very functiosnal no complaints - 1 minor comment that that the mattress was to soft for our taste & felt very worn. Would stay there again & hope for a better mattress.
