Went with family who regularly use the takeaway but havent eaten in. Our table had beed crossed out when we arrived as we were about 10mins late. We were fitted in upstairs and ordered quickly. Popadoms fine but sauces a bit sour. I had a madras strength balti but had to send it back due to a total lack of spice. The problem was sorted and i had a good open chat with the floor manager who offered to supply new naan bread and a refund if it was not fixed to my satisfaction. The breads were lovely and fresh by the way. We were rushed off our table a bit at the end and when left i was told by the rest of my family that their foid was bereft of flavour too! Not sure why they didnt say anything inside though. This is a byob joint so get that sorted before you go. They try hard to please but if you arent happy then tell them!

A little disappointing this one. We hadn't booked so placed upstairs. Everywhere needed a vacuum but still, go with it! Very work cafeteria style upstairs - not the best. Slightly 'damp' pops and ok chutney tray. Main courses - quite a deep, flavoursome balti although in reality this was almost certainly just the curry base mix plus a bit. Chicken Tikka salad with very dry and not brilliantly flavoured - the accompanying curry sauce was a little thin and watery. The nan was thinner than you usually find and very dry - it desperately needed a brush if ghee. Service was agyyally quite friendly and efficient. Shame.

Oversized large mdf table enough to sit 6.....there was only two of us.....after 20minutes of waiting for our order to be taken we decided to go as we felt uncomfortable and still no one arrived, so unable to comment on the food but poor service

Not been here for a couple of years and this restaurant used to have a great reputation. What a disappointment though! Very slow, inattentive and off-hand service. Not awful but pretty mediocre food (although sizeable portions). Patchy refurbishment. But... still charging the kind of prices you'd associate with a far better restaurant.
