We went to see Ghost. Several of the audience that were seated on our row were drunk and very loud, disruptive to the point of us complaining. Basically the manager said "tough" nothing we cn do about it and we do not ask people like that to leave. unimpressed.

I love the Regent Theatre and think we are very lucky to have such a wonderful establishment in our area. The programme of shows is always interesting and varied but when I visited on the 8th May to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers I was very disappointed because as Mick T said the quality was very poor which totally spoilt my enjoyment of the show. The main female part could be heard as she had quite a strong voice but I'm sorry to say the rest of the cast could not be heard. Of course it will not prevent me from visiting in the future as this is the first time I have had such a problem.

Have been to the Regent many times and seen some wonderful shows. Last night those of us sitting at the outer end of the rows all suspected we were going deaf-until we realised the sound just wasn't great in those seats. However Seven Brides For Seven Brothers was fun, the dancing superb. Refreshments are too pricey-£2 for a small bottle of water! Many people arrived late as parking was difficult with queues at the meters. Staff efficient, seats comfortable.
