We have spent a wonderful day here walking and sightseeing.
A hidden gem.
The Ramblers Retreat is a fabulous place and so dog friendly.
The food is great as is the service

“Great walking stop.”
Reviewed 19 January 2014 via mobile

The travers rest at dimmingsdale is a great place for a bite to eat. Great to sit both outside when the weather is nice or inside if weather is not so good. Try their legendary lemon meringue. The area is great for walking too!!

Stunning place for a walk at any time of the year. Do call into the Rambler's Retreat for refreshment while there. The autumn colours are beautiful and it feels like a different world.
