It is a lovely day out if its a nice day as the scenery is beautiful, my only problem with this forest is it is overpriced considering your walking round for only 15 mins looking at the same species of monkey. The entire forest contains hundreds of moneys that all look exactly the same. So if your struggeling for money, do not pay to get in here as you may not think it is worth it

The monkey forest is a well penned in sizeable forest for two groups of monkeys. They are everywhere and will walk across the paths in front of you, almost oblivious to your presence. You will see plenty and get close enough to them to take some good pictures. The yellow coated guides are knowledgeable and give a talk on them at feeding times which are currently hourly. It does not take long to walk around. We went out of the monkey area to the loos, cafe, shop and playgrounds before returning for another circuit of the forest. It has been said that the entrance fee is a bit steep (£7.50/adult), but I think that it is probably about right given the overheads that they must have. A good excursion, but you'll be pushing it to stay there more than a couple of hours in total.

We all enjoyed Monkey forest. It was amazing being so close to the monkeys. Staff were good they answered any questions and told you more. We have been few times and once some of the females had babies hanging on them, the grand kids loved that day. We also saw a few males fighting which was a bit scary but the member of staff on hand told us what to do to avoid any mishap. Really interesting without the staff there it would be boring just a walk round looking at monkeys, its nice to be told a little about them.

Enjoyed both mine and my mother-in-laws birthday there. Relax and just watch the monkeys do what monkeys do.
