“Great fun and educational but take a picnic with you!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 via mobile

After paying the discounted entrance fee of £26.50 for our posse of 5 (2 adults & 3 children) we were entertained and fascinated with the monkeys who seem perfectly happy to walk alongside you whilst getting on with there everyday life, plenty of staff are on hand to answer any questions and are well informed to enlighten you with all the information you desire, however, I would not recommend the 'banana cafe' our posse of children were hungry so we decided to call in for a bite. £4.90 for a ham baguette is extortion, coming in a low quality baguette containing processed ham. A much superior sandwich easily available at any local supermarket for less than half the price. The souvenir shop offers keyrings from £3.00 to small cuddly monkeys for £18.50, thankfully there was no charge for the play area. All in all very good, a little expensive for its post code address

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is lovely to hear you and your family enjoyed and learnt so much whilst at Monkey Forest. We can ensure that all baguettes served in our Banana Café are freshly made each day with top quality products. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy these.

Our onsite Jungle shop offers a range of projects from 60p, to make sure pocket money can be spent wisely. We hope to see you again at Monkey Forest.

“Close up action.”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

You really are close up to the monkeys and they really don't seem to mind at all.The staff are also helpful and informative, which is a plus. A very enjoyable experience,if a little pricey as the enclosure is very small so its a 2 hours max at best, unless you are completely nuts about monkeys, that is.

“Good to see the Monkeys”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

Good to see the animals up close and personal. They can roam freely and are not unduly worried by the people milling around.
The animals seem in good health and the walk around the trail will keep you trim.

A little pricey for entrance, but my daughter loved it.

It is brilliant to hear you learnt so much on your trip to Monkey Forest. The 140 Barbary macaques are completely free roaming and therefore our visitors get to see the monkeys acting just how they would in the wild. We hope to see you again soon!
