Great fish and chips. Chips light and fluffy cod moist great batter. Also good quality vinegar which is a must for fish and chips. Long queue though but worth it. Have to mention the pub next door. They allow you to eat your fish and chips in their beer garden as long as you purchase a drink from the bar. So we had a pint of adnams which complimented the fish and chips

Always go to the fish and chip shop here its a must when travelling to aldeburgh. When I went in July it was closed at the time as I was there so early in the morning so I didn't get chance to go there this time but when I drove past later on in the day it was heaving. Definitely worth waiting for anytime!

We heard so much about e fish and chips and reead the great reviews, after looking the menu we decided to head to aldbough, the queue wasn't to bad , I grabbed a table in the pub garden ( who allow you to eat there if you purchase a drink) saddened wen my husband came back there was no rock and no pickled onions, how annoying as I was so looking forward to ths great fish and chips I was let down I ended up with cod my least favourite fish and soggy chips, sorry it's not for me, I certainty don't know what all the fss s about
