Very long queue time we passed the shop just before opening and there was already around 15 people in the queue. Went back later and still had to queue! Yummy food very freshly cooked and reasonable.

Avoid the massive queue which starts at about 4.30 and goes through to about 8pm. The advantage of seeing the queue is you know they must be good otherwise folks wouldn't wait for the food. Also, it means there is a quick turnaround on the food. I can highly recommend the haddock, chips and pickled eggs!

If you've sampled the fish and chips here, you'll probably agree. I've been having fish and chips from this shop for fifty+ years and what's great is that it's still the same family who runs it.

It's not unusual to see the queue stretch for a hundred yards in the Summer, but it's well worth the wait.

Many people buy their food and then go and eat it on the beach.

Love it.

We live fairly local to Aldeburgh and have fish and chips here every Friday, except on school holidays and there are huge queues in this period. They really are absolutely excellent fish and chips. The best we have ever tasted and well worth getting in the car to drive to Aldeburgh. Thoroughly recommended

Great fish and chips. Chips light and fluffy cod moist great batter. Also good quality vinegar which is a must for fish and chips. Long queue though but worth it. Have to mention the pub next door. They allow you to eat your fish and chips in their beer garden as long as you purchase a drink from the bar. So we had a pint of adnams which complimented the fish and chips
