As a 19year old, i have been to the ember inns three times since turning of legal age to drink. Twice, i have felt angered by one bar lady(she might be a manager) whose sarcastic remarks have made me feel unwelcome and embarrassed. For example last night myself and three other of my 19year old friends entered the pub, to which we were not greeted in a friendly manner, instead this bar lady who i do not know the name of, made the comment as soon as we stood at the bar 'aww there all in kindergarten' immediately i felt uncomfortable being there and felt simply because we were younger looking we were not wanted in this pub. The bar man who served us asked for all our IDs which i do not mind that's his job but even after she had seen him do this, she still made a point of asking him if he had seen all our IDs. The ember inns is a nice pub, which serves rather nice food, however this one bar lady has always kept me and my mates away as they also talk of unpleasant experiences with her. So if your looks make it appear you are in kindergarten, i suggest you take a small walk to the Moreton hall community centre pub, which never has anything less then a friendly welcome from the bar staff.
