“Won't be returning!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

Despite having been to this pub several times, we went to celebrate my Sister's birthday here last year and had an awful meal. For a pub offering traditional "pub grub" you expect chips to be in vast supply - well on this occasion, not only did they run out, but the "wedges" they used in substitute were virtually cremated. By and large a dreadful meal and we've vowed not to go again!

“Relaxing meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 December 2013 via mobile

Popped in after shopping, the pub was lovely and warm, food was typical bought in pub grub but ideal for a quick meal... Service was quick and staff were friendly, especially a young waiter.
Great atmosphere and very relaxing place to just sit back and eat with a pint of beer

“Just terrible service again”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 December 2013

This is not a pub, because it will take an age to actually get a drink at the bar. The food so just poor but the service is just terrible. It seems as if you are there to keep them in a job as they certainly don't seem bothered.Never visit that place again.

“Nice meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 November 2013

A party of five of us had a meal here at the end of November and all five said how nice there meals were, they had run out of one of our main orders and one desert, but the staff were very pleasant in the way they dealt with this, the waitress that severed our food was very friendly and helped make the evening better,we will be going there again.

“2nd Chance!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

Tried again to like this place (first review 2012). Food terrible! (its only microwave food, but they can't even do that right) its poor produce (meat in pie was just fatty bits & gammon steak all fat and tough). Ladies toilets smell like mens toilets (sorry men)!. This place needs to taken over quickly, it has potential to be a good pub for food, but until they get the food right it really is just go in for a drink pub!
