We stayed in for just 1 night sadly, although we will definitley go back. The whole experience was great from being greeted at the car and being made to feel very welcome by an extremely nice couple. The room was lovely spotlessly clean very well thought through we even had Green & Blacks chocolates left on the pillows plus bottled water and vases of freshly picked roses from the garden, the bed was very comfortable and the large flatscreen TV DVD combi was also great addition including a selection of upto date DVDs to enjoy. The gardens are lovely with a huge fish pond full of very large koi which we enjoyed feeding. The whole place is very relaxing and only a 20 mins drive into Bury so great location aswell. The breakfast was the perfect, it included several locally produced fresh juices, strawberrys, home grown rhubarb with yogurt followed by either full English or free range eggs and aspargass also from the garden. I would definitely recommend a visit. Apparently this is a new venture for them starting earlier this year. Well done to you both your doing a great job, thank you Angie.

Room Tip: Stayed in the Red room, had patio doors to garden

We stayed at Drinkstone park as we were going to a family wedding at Ravenswood hall. It is set in the most beautiful gardens with home grown veg and chickens running around.Because the wedding was at 2pm Christine made sure we had 2 rooms available for 12pm even though this was earlier than normal On arrival we went into the lounge and were treated to tea and biscuits even though this is already in your room. As the taxi to the hall was expensive Michael gave us a lift back the next day to pick up the cars. The breakfast here is spectacular from fresh coffee, rhubarb compote and fresh fruits and yoghurts, to saute potatoes with your full english, Everything is home grown or local, The service and faciliies are second to none, our pillows had chocolates on them and both Christine and Michael are extremely welcoming.and everything has been given so much thought. I can honestly say I think this is a top place to stay and a hundred times nicer than a lot of four star hotels I have stayed at. Didn't want to leave and will definately be visiting again. Fabulous!!!!

Room Tip: Upstairs doubles my favourite downstairs bigger
