What a truly excellent b&b. Comfortable rooms, pleasant and peaceful surroundings and very helpful and welcoming hosts. We spent 3 nights at the end of August, hiring 2 rooms (Red Room and Purple Room). Breakfasts were very good, we also had the option of some specials including eggs benedict. Getting back early one afternoon we were offered a cream tea, a nice touch. If you are in the area you must try this b&b. You will not be disappointed.

We are getting quite good with the cream teas! I think Christine can make scones blindfolded now. We are pleased you enjoyed your cream tea, breakfasts and your stay. Many thanks for your kind review.

Michael and Christine are the perfect hosts for a relaxing getaway. It began as we drove through the gate and were graciously met by both. We immediately felt most welcome and cared for in their beautiful home. The breakfasts are superb and do cater to every taste. The 3 acre beautifully landscaped gardens are a sheer delight whether viewing from our bedroom, the breakfast table or stepping outside and taking a stroll. The location of course is superb being close to the lovely market town of Bury St. Edmunds and the quaint villages and stunning Suffolk countryside all within easy reach. Christine's afternoon creme teas are sumptuous and very welcome after a long day out. The blue room was furnished with every amenity that one would
expect from a top class bed & breakfast. We most definitely will return and would highly recommend Drinkstone Park B&B to other travelers.

The very warm and friendly welcome was particularly appreciated as I was unusually travelling without my family. The accommodation was excellent in beautiful surrounds. Even providing a delicious gluten-free breakfast was no trouble for Michael and Christine. I hope to bring my family with me next time!

Thank you Christine and Michael for a great 3 day break, we wish it could have been longer. I don't think there is anything new I can say that hasn't already been said. If you want a really high quality B&B with all home comforts, this is it. Great breakfasts which really set you up for the day and cream tea when you return, what more could you ask for.

Room Tip: We stayed in the red room which has it's own patio.

Our pleasure! Happy that you had a great time and thank you for the review. By the way we are currently putting a private patio area outside the Peach Room with of course french doors from the room.

My wife and I wanted a short break away near Bury St Edmunds and stumbled across this B&B. The previous reviews were a good reason for giving this location a chance and we were not disappointed. From our arrival through to our departure two days later we were given a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was well equipped and presented to a very high standard with all the usual refinements. The hosts went that extra mile to make us feel welcome, giving advice on places of interest and places to eat but without being intrusive. If we should visit this area again we would certainly look to stay here again!

We were just looking for something simple en route to a family reunion. This is a fabulous place - the garden is idyllic, the hosts warm and kind and the attention to detail superb. The quality of everything is unquestionable.

We were in the Peach Room, which was spotless, as was the en-suite bathroom. No ordinary tea tray: every tea imaginable, Horlicks, hot chocolate and ground coffee. Christine even brought in a flask of fresh milk.

We had a wonderful time drinking tea on the terrace, overlooking the gardens, which really do have to be seen to be believed. Breakfast the next day was terrific - quality ingredients and imaginative offerings (eg. American pancakes). Christine and Michael are natural hosts, who clearly enjoy making people happy.
