Returned again to Drinkstone and the welcome was just as warm as the first time we came! The weather was much different to our previous visit, we could explore the gardens this time without them being covered in a foot of snow! A stunning garden with fabulous views of the Suffolk countryside, joined by the friendly cats who seemed to be showing us around! Excellent breakfast, good size and what made it better was knowing it was all locally sourced - homemade jams, bread, marmalade and the eggs from the hens outside. The room was exceptionally clean with all the little touches which made you feel special - from the cold milk container down to the pillow mints. A firm matress, soft pillows and a heavy duvet meant I slept like a baby even on the first day (you know what I mean, I didnt wake up every hour and cry!) Our 2nd visit, our 3rd in December 2012, and the 4th yet to be decided!
