We have just returned from a couple of night's stay with Michael and Christine in their lovely B&B. Everything was perfect. We stayed in the "Red Room" which was large and very comfortable, opening out on to it's own little patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. This is where we eat the welcoming scones and cream when we arrived. There was nothing left wanting in the room ...... including fresh milk to go with the tea, coffee and biscuits. Also bottled water every day. Shower room had more "smellies" than most top class hotels and the towels were very plentiful. We also made use of the large stock of DVD's before bed.
Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a B&B - just wish we had a few more days to try out more of what was on offer each day.
Plenty of pubs nearby for evening meals .... try "The Six Bells" in Felsham. No pretence about it but the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the home cooked food was excellent
Our hosts couldn't have done more for us. Wherever we asked directions to, Michael came up with the necessary map!
Thank you so much, Michael and Christine, for making us feel so welcome. We will not hesitate to visit again if we are ever up your way.
