You can buy most things for a decent price in this fairly substantial outdoor market. Particularly good for fresh fruit and veg. Covers a large part of the market square so there is room to move around and browse. If you can't find what you are looking for In the market then you can just slip into one of the surrounding shops

Markets in England are always fun and busy. There are many vendors and the atmosphere of the market with it's hawking vendors is classic. Picked up some lovely bread and fruit.

Wed and Sat all day market fills the historic centre of Bury. Exellent for fresh fish and seafood, also bread, fruit and veg and cakes etc. Also more practical matters, ironmongery etc. and real plant stalls.

The market in Bury St Edmunds is a lively affair and in the centre of the town. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area as is Bury itself - in particular the abbey Gardens which can be absolutely lovely.
