I visit the LP regularly during the day with my son along with many of my friends who also have young children. The LP really caters for everyone and never fail to give us a much needed coffee and cake on a friday morning while the kiddies play with all the toys provided - you couldn't ask for more!
We also visit The LP on a sunday as a family for a good old roast dinner, it suits us perfectly as they serve so late on in the day it doesn't disturb nap time!
And if we are ever in for a real treat and manage to get out at night time we love to pop up for a drink and a bit of grown up time!
The LP really does cater for all our needs - well done guys!

“Perfect relaxing combination of brilliant food and drink.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2011

The LP is a local haunt of mine and never fails to meet and exceed my expectations. The atmosphere is so chilled out it's almost horizontal, but not to the detriment of the service. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make you the exact cocktail you want, find the right wine from their extensive list, or simply serve you a pint.

All the food is made on the premesis in an open kitchen which adds to the theatre when you can see your meal being prepared. Their wood fire oven mixed with the attention and care paid when cooking and fresh ingredients, makes the LP's pizzas the best in town undoubtedly.
We experienced their newly set up Sunday roasts which are served in a fun, relaxed help yourself at the table way. All food homemade and they are cleverly available until early evening - definitely something not to be missed. It's a must for a relaxing sunday with live accoustic music to accompany your lazying afternoon.

Without a doubt definitely worth a visit, or several. You'll get hooked.

“Really great food, friendly staff, best place for music in Suffolk!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2011

Been to the LP a few times both for food and a night out. Great pizza's and the staff are always friendly, relaxed and funny. Favourite thing about it is the music on a night out - DJ on a Saturday plays great mixes, somthing I have never experienced in Bury before! Really refreshing to have something new and qwerky around town.

“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2011

I have had and i struggled with finding the words... the night of my life.

The lp offered us a selection of pure indulgent from there restaurant menu, as soon as we arrived our senses were greeted with the feeling of upmarket casual charm and the food was something out of this world and a new level for Bury St Edmunds.

After our meal we wanted to make a night of it and ordered some cocktails from the bar we had some recommendation and thought hey hoo why not give these a try, all i can say is i am now a manhattan ice tea man.

If i had to give a rating out of 5 i would struggle to give anything less than 10!

“Best place in Bury”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2011

This is without doubt the best place in Bury to cater for all your needs; either on a night out for dinner, a night out for a drink or an excuse to get your groove on.

A fantastic pizzeria, great atmosphere in the bar (possibly the largest open bar area in town) and a brilliant venue upstairs with a variety of different music nights to cater for all tastes.

There is a great varied age range in here and everyone is made to feel welcome. You couldn't ever say that it's 'a young persons place' or 'everyone's old who goes there' as it is exactly what the name stands for; Likeminded People.
The hosts have got it spot on with the decor too and there's a cracking selection of drinks to choose from.

If you live in Bury and haven't tried it, make sure you do.
If you're visiting Bury for a night out, make sure you pop in.
If you're planning a trip to Bury from afar, make sure you plan this place into your visit.
