Description: Bay Tree Cafe has been an integral part of St Johns Street, one the loveliest areas in Bury St Edmunds, for more than 20 years. With dining rooms on both the ground and first floors it is deceptively larger than it first appears. Our hope is that the Bay Tree's menus offer something for everyone.

Just had a lovely lunch, smoked paprika halloumi salad gorgeous! A really great place to visit. A little hidden from the main town but worth a short walk.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with some friends....had tea and a lovely slice of Mud Pie cake....it was delicious, can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Will definitely be back.

Had a great lunch here. Very good choice of food. No children's specific menu but the brilliant staff will do anything from the menu smaller at a reduced price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Felt like a relaxing lunch somewhere in the southern Med!! Would definitely recommend.

This cafe is fabulous and I'm never disappointed! We come here every time I visit family in the south, the food is wonderful and loads of choice for vegetarians and gluten-free :D Not only is the food delicious but is is pretty too - worth an Instagram photo each visit. Wonderful friendly service tops it off perfectly, thankyou Bay Tree Cafe for some great mealtimes with my family :) we love it here and tell all our friends!
