The Abbey Gardens right in the heart of Bury is an extensive sight. It`s well maintained and very attractive. If you are interested in history there is much to learn but if not it`s still a lovely place to stroll around and enjoy some peace and quiet.

So nice to wander in the gardens in the centre of the city. The gardens are beautifully laid out laid out and historical details of the abbey are easy to find on the information boards.

There could be a nicer cafe to have tea and cakes

Beautiful, well executed flower beds with lots of lovely colour! Coffee shop and various attractions inc herb garden and a sensory garden, the ruins and a lovely model to make sense of them. Quiet spots for reading, having a picnic or just relaxing.
