The gardens are always kept immaculately with every changing flower displays. Immediately opposite the Angel Hill car park. There is a council car park a shortish walk along the river. There is a cafe. The ruins of the original abbey are open to all, There is a quiet garden with a fountain. A delightful spot. Accessible to wheel chairs. Lots of history

This is one of Bury St Edmunds top 2 free attractions to enter. Relaxed atmosphere to unwind, lovely flower beds, great ice cream parlour and a chance to see some exotic birds in a small Avery. Possibly the best park/gardens in Suffolk I have been to.

Beautiful gardens, pathways for people who use wheel chairs etc.. are well maintained. The flowers are always looking there best and change according to the seasons. Highly recommended.

This must be Bury St Edmunds' best free attraction. There is something for all ages, a play area for children, beautiful flowers and gardens for the adults and an ice-cream kiosk and coffee shop for all! This is a peaceful place to sit and contemplate life as well as enjoy the play areas. I remember this as a child and I spend time there now (in my 50s). A must place to visit.
