“Excellent food - a real gem”
Reviewed 6 November 2012

This restaurant has just opened but what a surprise!
The menu is either a grazing set menu or selected dishes. Almost like tapas dishes but larger - i had a gorgeous shepherds pie as one dish, scallops for another ( which were to die for!). The black pudding dish was really good too as were the puddings.
Well done!

Thank you for your review. Sadly, the Shepherd's pie has gone BUT it has been replaced with a delicious sirloin steak, celeriac chips, shitake mushrooms and roasted ketchup plat !

“Great new restaurant”
Reviewed 5 November 2012

We visited as a group of 4 on what i think was their 10th night since opening. Aside from a strange policy whereby set menus could only be ordered if the whole table ordered it, you certainly couldn't tell it was a new restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was the real highlight. The plates are small and the idea is to order 3 or 4 per person. Plates arrive when they are ready and are beautifully presented. The kebab in particular was very tasty. There is also a good range of cocktails to choose from. We will be back again soon.

Thank you for your review. Incidentally, after you mentioned the confusion with the 'graze' menus, we have changed our policy. Now, if only 1 of you wants a 'graze' menu and the other people in your party want to go a la carte, then you can.

“A little gem in the heart of historic Bury St Edmunds!”
Reviewed 5 November 2012

An absolute little gem in the heart of historic Bury St Edmunds pretty much sums it up!

Graze combines delicious food and friendly service in a grown up and well-thought out atmosphere! The small plate dining concept is new to Bury and exactly the kind of place it has been crying out for - something different but expertly executed!

Alongside the restaurant, Graze have a great bar area where the extensive cocktail menu will keep you entertained for hours and they've managed to cram just as much flavour into their non-alcoholic 'mock'tails as their alcoholic counterparts.

Can't recommend it highly enough! I have already made two more reservations at Graze - and that's just for November!

“Delicious food and charming service”
Reviewed 3 November 2012

We had been looking forward to going to Graze and were not disappointed. The food comes in small portions but as each portion costs around £5 it is easy to try lots of dishes. The restaurant encourages people to share plates so we both had everything ordered. In particular the pork belly dish was absolutely delicious. We found two dishes for each course (ie 6 in all between 2) was plenty.
The wine is available in 1/2 litre carafes which is perfect for 2. The food came quickly even thought the restaurant was almost full (on a Friday evening).
According to the owner/chef, the menu will change regularly. We will be back soon.

“Great way to eat...!”
Reviewed 3 November 2012 via mobile

If, like me, you often like the starters on a menu more than the choice of mains then Graze is perfect. An opportunity to taste a wide variety of well-crafted quality food from a very obviously keen-to-impress experimental chef. The owners are desperate to make a success of their new venture and seem to get the balance of friendliness and efficient service just right. Decor and ambiance is the best this venue has ever had. Looking forward to re-visiting (tonight!).
