“Cocktails?”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

There used to be a reasonable selection of cocktails available - selection has really gone downhill, everything seems to come with orange juice (including martinis?). Disgusted to see barman put ice into our glasses using his hands! Gross. Avoid at all costs!

“Good ideas but not well delivered”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

We enjoy the share/ many small tastes way of eating & having read many good reviews were looking forwards to an enjoyable evening at Graze. From an efficient & pleasant greeting things went down hill. The menu reads well but is not all that well executed & the remainder of service staff tried, but just didn't seem to know what they were doing. The only highlight was not being charged for about a third of what we had.

“Excellent value for money”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 via mobile

For anyone who likes to have a few starters instead of a main course, this menu is excellent. You can choose a selection of starters "small plates" and skip the mains. The "small plate" smoked mackerel and pork belly were both superb.
Our mains of haddock and chips which was tastefully presented on a wooden platter and spinach and ricotta ravioli was according to my wife..... The best she had ever had.

The drinks menu features some fine beers and wines, all priced competitively.

The building is full of old charm and character and you can pop straight into abbey gardens for a gentle stroll to walk it all off.

Try this place if you are in Bury, you will not regret it.

“One of Burys best. ”
Reviewed 15 March 2014 via mobile

Great atmosphere, creative and delicious food. Duck hash, cauliflower pannacotta and chocolate pudding that just melts in the mouth.
A very nice wine list and Layton who is front of house is a delightful-and very capable young man who seemed to be running the restaurant single handed.
Well worth a visit and a return visit.
