On arrival the outside of the hotel looked like we were arriving at a prison.

Entering reception was like walking into someone’s office. Very cramped and no windows for daylight.

We then asked to check our reservation was booked for dinner to be told they were fully booked..... even though we had just told them we had booked earlier before arriving.

After settling into the room we went to the restaurant for dinner. We were seated straight away and told that someone will come to take our drinks order. 45 minutes later no one had came to even take our order even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full. We had to prompt someone to come and take our order for drinks and food. Trying to order a bottle of wine of the wine list was a waste of time. We tried three different bottles of wine which we were told they didn’t have any of them as they were switching wine suppliers. We then asked which wine they did have to be told they only had 3 bottles all £10 more than the ones from the wine list. Service was so slow and all meat dishes were over done which was disappointing as the lay on reception told us the chef was known for his meat.

We then went back to the room to find out that the pillows were horrific. Like laying on a brick covered with sand paper. Made the experience and sleeping terrible.

The room was also ridiculously hot to the point we had to sleep with no covers and the windows all open with the fan on.

Overall it was horrific experience and I would not recommend this to anyone for the price they’re charging a night. Also not to be asked for an email so they can get info on this after making a complaint at reception on checkout is not acceptable.

Returned to this hotel with friends for a golf weekend after a trip a few years ago. We heard that a refurbishment had recently taken place and we were blown away by the result. Hotel rooms had been modernised to a high standard and the spa and gym facilities were great. A lot of time and attention had been spent on the golf course itself as the greens looked and felt like carpet. The most impressive part of the hotel is the new restaurant. The stunning views over the golf course were breath-taking and the food was amazing. With a great range of wines that complimented the food to perfection, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend away in the heart of suffolk.

I booked a table for 15 at The View for my Mum's 60th birthday. I was impressed with the setting but also by Mary and the staff who I met on my visit. They took their time to allow us to look around and explained what options we could have and listened to what we wanted to plan for Mum.
I had contact with Hannah and Alex regarding the room setting and the food between reserving and the birthday meal. They were both just brilliant and allowed us to select meals and settings which would match the 15 different people!!
On the night, the table looked lovely, table service staff were brilliant and the food was top notch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would fully recommend it. We all said that we would like to go again.
Thank you Mary, Hannah, Alex and the team.

Had a wonderful time having a Sunday roast with my husband. The setting was lovely and the staff were all really attentive. The food was above our expectation and the wine selection was gorgeous. We tried a new one suggested by our waitress. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently took advantage of the Sunday lunch All Saints has to offer. We both chose the roast beef. Our table looked out over the golf course and there was a good ambience in the restaurant. The food was amazing with the beef cooked exactly to our liking. Staff were attentive and polite. A special mention should go to selection of wines. We chose a bottle of Zorzal, an Argentinian Malbec, which was recommended by our waiter. Looking forward to going back!
