we chose Maison Bleue for valentines day. they had a set menu for the night at £45 per head. the service was good and efficient. we were never left alone for too long but it was not overbearing, the staff are all very polite and helpful.
the scallops for starter were good but i prefer mine seasoned a little more. the venison for main was perfect, served rare and accompanied by really well cooked veg and i think gnocchi. for dessert the cooked apple with salted caramel was very nice. the cheese board was sensational, some very nice blue cheeses ended a great meal.
Maison Bleue is probably the best restaurant in Bury and one of the best in the area.
