Stayed in a chalet at the rear of the building, as we were able to bring our dog. The location was peaceful and had an area outside were you could sit and not worry about the dog getting out. There was nice touches such as fresh flowers and plenty of tea/ coffee, biscuits and cakes in the room. Everything was very clean and the friendly helpful owners cooked a nice breakfast. There is also ample parking just opposite the chalets. Plenty of eateries and nice pubs on the doorstep in Long Melford. The B & B is ideally placed for visiting Constable country and other tourist hot spots. Would highly recommend.

We booked 4 rooms at the Long Melford B&B for our grown up family to go to a friends wedding at Kentwell Hall just up the road from this B &B.
Our hosts were really helpful letting us check in early on the day and the rooms were very comfortable with amplearking. The individually cooked breakfasts were excellent and this place I would highly recommend this for touring in the area etc
Thanks for excellent value for money and the way you made us feel at home while we were there.

Stayed here on a number of occasions and the owners make the place, friendly and passionate about what they do. The breakfast is lovely, fresh and Jane will have it ready at the time you ask, rooms are of a good standard, clean and tidy.

Nice parking area on site free of charge!

The quality of the place for £55 a night is great and you should book early as most ppl return once they have stayed as we have.

Thanks Chris & Jane we love our stays!

Just stayed for one night as a flying visit to the area. On arrival upgraded to a chalet room, initial impressions not bad. But on closer use of the room not great. Curtains don't fit the window properly and so massive gap at one end, when it's a ground floor room with passing people all the time this is not the best. Kettle dirty, obviously dirty on the outside with dirty fingerprints almost. Coffee sachets out of date, hairs everywhere on sink in toilet on floor, got out of shower with wet feet and my feet were filthy with hairs etc by the time walked to the bed. Bathroom very dated with disgusting toilet brush and dirty sink. Towels nice and big bonus, shower very old and low pressure but nice and hot. Bed has seen better days, can feel and hear every spring and creak. Walls super thin so could hear next doors tv every word of the programme until after midnight then at 7am kettle boiling and toilet fan etc from adjoining room.
Luckily only staying in the room just to sleep else would of not stayed any longer.
Did not have breakfast so cannot comment.
I can over look the dated room in need of a paint etc but you expect a level of standard cleanliness what ever price you are paying.

Chalet room was clean, comfortable & quiet with tables & chairs to sit outside. Plenty of private parking. Breakfast was a little too late for my work start time so Jane packed it as a sandwich for me to take away. Would highly recommend this B & B to anyone.

Room Tip: Have only stayed in the chalets which have their own en suit toilet/shower room.
