“Very cosy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

I have stayed there twice with a friend. This is a lovely family home, with lots of interesting thingsvto look at.

Warm welcome from the owners, comfy rooms, with all amenities. We slept well, quiet rooms.

The breakfast is very good.

Exceptionally high quality , spacious accommodation, with generous and warm hospitality . Perfect breakfasts , including home-grown fresh fruit , all with lovely views of the garden. An ideal base for day trips around.

I stayed here with my Mum for two nights, lovely house and Caroline was a great host. Good breakfast to set off our days. We had two separate rooms with a shared bathroom which suited us fine.
If I had one complaint it would be that the doors to the rooms didn't have locks on them. But overall I give this place an excellent review and would certainly return when next in the area

Stayed here for 3 nights on our 1st but not last visit to Long Melford. It was a wonderful experience and our hosts were extremely thoughtful and kind. Beautiful house and garden and the rooms are everything you would want from a B + B. Superb breakfast, wonderful coffee and all overlooking a wonderful walled garden. Can't see us staying anywhere else when we return.

Room Tip: Depends what you want. We chose the twin with en-suite and it was great. The other 2 rooms share a h...

My daughter and two of her bridesmaids stayed here the night before her wedding and the bridesmaids an extra night. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. What a beautiful setting for the photographer, they were allowed the run of this beautiful house. I can't wait to see the photos. I wish we had stayed here too, as we were made very welcome along with the extra bridesmaids, hairdresser etc! They all said the breakfasts were super too.

We stayed in the charming twin-bedded room with a new en-suite. It was quiet, despite facing the main street. Breakfast served in a conservatory overlooking a beautiful garden. Welcoming hosts, superb breakfast. A real home-from-home in an interesting period house, part-Tudor, part-Victorian.
